Jay L @Jay.Livin Jul 25 This movie took an unexpected turn for me seeing as I went in blind. The message behind the movie is all too real, gut wrenching and left me speechless. Although I was sad about the ending that is the reality of what happens daily all over the world and should be talked about more. The only complaint I have about the film is that it’s very unrealistic that there wasn’t at least a few people walking around on the streets to witness this or more than just the one car we saw towards the end of the film. It would’ve been more realistic if he would’ve taken them to a secluded area or place earlier on in the film. There is no point to the movie as it presents a steady diet of pain and cruel punishment on a dreary ride to a destination that will provide a most unsatisfactory ending. The film was adequately executed and actress Peyton List stands out as the resourceful resistor in a increasingly dreadful scenario. That said it can't save the movie from being a pointless and unrealistic excursion into already charted territory. See more 01/17/2021 Highly recommended. For all women.
