The graphics almost look like practical effects. The acting is on point and perfectly communicates the emotion of each scene. Even the extras act with such dedication and perfection. See more Chris M @RT21954632 10/10/2023 The Asylum really wanted a sequel to their Knockbuster of "Godzilla vs. Kong" but the Monsterverse isn't rushing for a sequel. They had no movie to rip off. So instead of, I don't know create something original. They decided to rip off "King Kong Escapes". Which came out in 1968. With just a pinch of "Godzilla Vs. Mechagodzilla" as we first see Mecha Kong on faux fur. Also they totally redesigned Abe to be a gorilla when in the first movie Abe was a chimp mutated by alien goo. The effects are bad even for them with a tired plot and bad acting. Hell, you think the one character from the first movie, Dr. Linda Murphy would return since she had a connection with Abe, and she even named him. I think this is one of the worst this lazy company has done and that's saying something with their record of really horribly lazy movies. See more Read all reviews
