A young man and his friends venture into the Black Hills Forest in Maryland to uncover the mystery surrounding his missing sister. Many believe her disappearance 17 years earlier is connected to the legend of the Blair Witch. At first the group is hopeful, especially when two locals act as guides through the dark and winding woods. As the night wears on, a visit from a menacing presence soon makes them realize that the legend is all too real, and more sinister than they could have ever imagined.

The microphones on the tiny digital cameras shouldn't be picking up much, but verisimilitude be damned, because Blair Witch renders every snapped stick, crushed leaf, and distant guttural noise as an ear-blistering assault.

Really bad movie with people screaming each other's names in the woods. The only satisfying part was when the stereotypical dbag playing himself in the movie gets killed. Terrible ending too.

What a shameless sequel/remake, whatever this monstrosity is. It shows what the last movie didn't, the monster which is supposed to be secret. It plays with time which is cool too bad it's wasted on characters we could care less about. Don't watch this movie, just rewatch the first one. Apparently another one is coming out, they won't let this series die.

Somehow even worse than the first one, which already sucks. These actors are annoying. Really strange that this is so bad considering how much better found footage horror has become.

This movie was very tense and kept me interested the whole time, especially watching it with my friends. It had good twists and turns with its plot and like Jaws, it uses the same technique of hiding the main monster/antagonist but still making it feel scary and suspenseful for everybody involved. I was pleased and I already want to watch it again! GREAT directing and filmmaking!

High-key terrible. Doesn't come near the original and the entity is so aggressive so fast. I like the couple shots we see of the entity but that's pretty much it. The characters learn absolutely nothing and overall just not a great time.
