Story follows four friends who retreat to a decaying mansion in the Malibu hills for a weekend getaway. From the moment they arrive, something feels unsettlingly off. That creeping sense of dread lays the groundwork for the horrors that follow. Chloe Farnworth (Tera) and Christine Scherer (Valerie) deliver grounded, restrained performances that anchor the film emotionally. Strong lighting choices, effective sound design, and good production design create an immersive backdrop for the scares. Paranormal elements — particularly the ominous appearance of cryptic Tarot cards — add an extra layer of mystery and foreboding.
