Mitch S. @SwagoDiego2k 3d Maybe it's nostalgia. I can look at all the problems this film has and accept and forgive it. It is what it is. I grew up watching it and loved it. I rewatched it as a full grown adult and I still loved it. It goes off the rails a bit and has some silly scenes in it for sure. The initial introduction to the main antagonist is very well done. I think with all movies once the mystery slowly unravels and we see more of the monster it gets less intimidating. But I'll say it does a good job with it throughout the movie. The concept of it feeding on meat of a person who is pumped full of that sweet sweet fear is cool. The main leads who play brother and sister do a good job overall. The psychic "crazy" lady was acting her heart out. I liked how the monster eats body parts then hibernates for 23 years. And lastly loved ths ending. Very unfortunate. It’s entertaining enough, and it’s cool to see young Justin Long in a pretty likable character. But it also resorts to tons of genre cliches (namely incredibly stupid character decisions), and at times feels repetitive in its plot points. But that ending… as someone who saw it for the first time, and thankfully hadn’t had it spoiled for me, it truly was shocking, I must admit. Did not think they would go that route. That… utterly bleak route. So yeah. Mostly it’s just okay, but that ending has to notch it up a bit, so I think it’s fair to say that it’s overall good. See more Miranda C. @RT61218028 May 5 I watched Jeepers Creepers for the second time and I just can’t get behind this movie. I have mixed feelings about it. The concept and overall story were actually really good and creepy, and it had a lot of potential to be a great horror movie. But honestly, the characters kind of ruined it for me. They made so many dumb decisions that it took away from the tension and made parts of the movie feel frustrating instead of scary.
