This environment could be a CGI wonderland to teach audiences something about history, if only there were fun facts here and there. You’d think coming from a movie that takes place inside a museum the audience might learn a little, but you’d be wrong.

Thankfully, the special-effects used to simulate the static exhibits coming to life (dinosaurs, statues, warriors etc) are both strong and varied enough to prevent a totally worn-out welcome.

Watching this while I'm still sick was exactly the kind of nostalgic comfort I needed. I completely forgot Shawn Levy directed this, and I had no idea just how stacked the cast really is until rewatching it now. Alan Silvestri's score is fantastic and that main theme still gives the movie so much magic and adventure. I was also surprised by how well it has held up over the years. The production design is genuinely impressive, the museum atmosphere is charming, and the whole film has a warmth that's hard not to smile at. A fun, timeless family adventure that still works. **3.5/5 stars.**

Eu acho este um bom filme e, sem dúvida, o melhor de toda a trilogia. A premissa de um museu de história natural que ganha vida todas as noites é super criativa e entrega um conceito visual muito divertido. Ótimo para ver num domingo em família.

I saw this back in 2006 when it was in theaters. 20 years later it still holds up pretty well. Yes, some of the CGI is so-so, but not outright bad like some movies from the late 90's/early 2000's. It's a fun film that you can watch with kids.
