"Outcome" is a dark comedy that centers on Reef Hawk (Keanu Reeves), a beloved Hollywood star who must dive into the depths of his hidden demons after he is extorted with a mysterious video that's sure to shatter his image and end his career. With the support of his lifelong besties Kyle (Cameron Diaz) and Xander (Matt Bomer), along with his crisis lawyer Ira (Jonah Hill), Reef embarks on a soul-searching journey to make amends with anyone he could have possibly wronged in hopes of identifying the blackmailer. Co-writer and director Hill brings a unique lens to Reef's wild but spiritually cleansing, nostalgic and eye-opening trip down memory lane, where confronting his past might be the only way to rescue his future.

It’s hard to imagine this mumbling, shambling man holding multiplex masses in his thrall. As such, he’s a poignant void, but a void nonetheless, and even at a slim 84 minutes, Hill’s doleful film can’t keep us interested in his plight.

Jonah Hill ruined the whole movie. It’s a good set up but who tf let him cast himself he deserves to have the money that will be lost. It’s not 2003. Jonah was an embarrassment as usual. Go Susan! Go Keanu! Eff off Jonah and get away from the camera. Can’t name a single person who enjoys him onscreen.

It’s a decent idea, but poorly executed. I didn’t care. I care about addiction stories. I think it’s interesting to make the themes about the people in the main characters life not the protagonist themselves. But there wasn’t enough emotion or action and it wasn’t funny enough to offset that. 👎

It almost seemed like a movie about Keanu Reeves. But there was so much fake, insider crap. Jonah Hills character was the most cringe. Made me want to turn it off. It’s not very good. Lots of talent wasted in this movie.
