03/01/2010 A great movie with superb Russian actors! They all won a collective (perhaps because they were Russian, just kidding!) Palme d'or in Cannes. It's fresh, fun and has many new developments within the plot. It's good to see a movie about wedding which is not American - that is to say film shot in a cheesy way with all the stupid ingredients the American film industry sponsored by the brands usually add when it comes to weddings and marriage - for once! See more 02/05/2010 A screwball comedy made in Russia which obviously looks so crude due to the limitations of production possibly. The phenomena owing to the conflicts between capitalism & socialism reflected in the film are what really matters, & interesting to ponder. See more 03/27/2009 Definitively worth watching.
