Haika L @Isabellahaika 16h Truly an American story. The perfect looking family that crumbles as soon as something goes wrong. Very American. Dad is doing bad things. The Mom is neglected. The brothers are so different. Excellent performances. Some great dialogue. Good filmmaker. Difficult to watch, but well made. Kudos to producer James Brolin See more Nick K @Nickwallace Jun 9 Pleasantly surprised. We try to watch a movie almost every night. This one snuck up on me. I was expecting a boring Hallmark movie. Some kind of sweet family movie. I’m used to seeing Joanna Cassidy do comedy. She steals the show here. So beautiful and vulnerable. Incredible performance. Be warned: a tearjerker. See more Ron W @Ronweinert Jun 9 Cheering on dark, daring indie film. This was probably supposed to be a TV movie, but everyone stepped up and made it more. The performances were great. James Brolin is a huge star and did this little movie. Joanna Cassidy, love her in everything she does and she was great here. Tia Mowry was convincing. Corin Nemec has several powerful scenes again Brolin. Kirk Kepper was less known to me and brought so much charisma. Dialogue was good. The whole thing was dark and got darker. The director brought detail, nuance, style. I enjoyed this more than I expected to See more Dylan T @RT91583065 Jun 7 relatable story you dont see as much anymore This whole story is relatable (not in a good way). Great job by the cast and filmmakers. Whether it’s family illness, or cheating, or just family ego and fights (I’ve seen all of it). I felt like I was looking in a mirror. Filmmaker did a great job and captured detail and made it feel so cinematic. Cast was good too. Recognized several faces. The Mom was incredible! See more Ava S @Avasalim Jun 6 Compelling indie film that goes dark and daring So glad I found this. So many movies are about loud explosions and CGI. Last night I went for this movie with performance and human stories instead. Joanna Cassidy is amazing WOW! James Brolin delivered his devilish charm. Seeing these 2 legends working together. Really enjoyed the filmmaking. See more Hanne H @HanneHoward Jun 3 HUGE Jams Brolin fan! I don't see him in enough stuff anymore. This was like a highlight reel.I love when he plays these parts and maybe the filmmakers do too, because they let him play. So fun to watch! Great chemistry with Joanna Casssidy. I wish Tia Mowry had more to do. Good casting. Good filmmaker. I enjoyed. More Mr Brolin! See more Read all reviews
