To enjoy watching this film you must first assume that none of the characters have ever watched a zombie film themselves, or have even heard of zombies. Otherwise, nothing they do makes any sense. Liam McIntyre's character, Tom, is amazingly lucky to survive one idiotic stunt after the next. At times it was difficult to watch as he blundered about and did such stupid things. Actually painful.

The characters are pretty orly written. It’s hard to root for the kid or the dad really. The child is insufferable though.
