It’s decent for an independent, I like the concept. But you could tell it’s independent. I’d like a re-do with a better script/producer. I don’t even remember the dogs name. And didn’t know it was a boy til half way through. Whilst I thought the ending was the shocking cherry on top, I can see how it may be frustrating to some and I understand a few wee plot holes that are involved in accepting it, but for the sake of an interesting tale, I am going with it. As well as being a great thriller, it has a few great points about dating in this day and age, and our culture of acceptance and open-mindedness (which is usually a GOOD thing), I love that the protagonist applies pressure in just the right way to manipulate, which is what I think makes this an intelligent thriller rather than an eye roll festival.
