For Sheriff Ulysses (Bob Odenkirk), his provisional posting to the quaint Midwestern American town of Normal was meant to be a welcome respite from both his marital woes and recent moral injuries in the line of duty. But when a botched bank robbery interrupts the municipality's tranquil pace, a dark secret is inadvertently exposed, and Ulysses soon discovers that the town is anything but its namesake.

This was a film that I think was not serious enough and not fun enough to be anything. If it had been more serious, I think it would have been a better movie. If it had been more fun, I think it would have been a better movie.

A bad @ film, which actually throws you off with the way they set up the film...you think they are going one way and they went another. I really enjoyed this and I hope they figure out how to get the sheriff and deputy into more adventures.

A great action flick. It was perfectly cast and is a must-see movie. It has some twists to it, which makes it a great movie

Nothing normal about Normal, MN. Being from Minnesota, I hate the over dramatizing accents. (thats not how we talk!) The movie itself was good, and had some very laugh out loud moments. Enjoyed the story line and the characters. Id recommend it.
