The stylised visual palette speaks to Maul’s tortured extremes, which is helpful because the writing doesn’t add a great deal to a character who has most often been a menacing adversary. It’s one for the dedicated fans.

General Filoni. Years ago you served George Lucas while producing the Clone Wars. Now we beg you to help us in our struggle against bad writing. I regret that I'm unable to present the requests of literally every Star Wars fan in person, but our favorite franchise has fallen under attack and I'm afraid our mission to support Star Wars has almost failed. We've placed information vital to the survival of the fandom into the memory systems of the internet. You guys will know how to retrieve it. You must see good content safely delivered to Disney+. This is our most desperate hour. Help us Dave Filoni. You're our only hope.

The whole show just shows why Filloni should stay at the head of Star Wars. You can watch this even without a history of Star Wars. So far it is my favorite show yet

I love what Filoni has done w/the franchise but, this is just more of the same so far. I will watch all the episodes but, honestly enjoyed the rewatch of Maul arc related movies/episodes getting ready for this series more.
