The fire is menacing, but it feels so contrived from the very first scene that it fails to generate enough panic. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Firebreak is one such attempt at waking us up to the real issues that are plaguing our society instead of bickering amongst one another. Go to Full Review

LAA A 2h The film delivers excitement with solid performances, but its pacing and sequence of events feel scattered, and the visual effects lack refinement. Despite these flaws, the story itself is compelling and emotionally resonant. It’s worth watching once for its impact, though it doesn’t demand a repeat viewing See more Brian B 5h The movie kept my attention which is why the rating. See more Wendy J @WendyJ 21h I see this has been getting mediocre reviews, but I enjoyed it and thought it was believable. The fire was not an immediate threat, but a menace in the background. The panic was caused by the missing child made worse be the recent death of her father without going further that would spoil the tale. See more Mia M @SleepyMiqo 1d The whole movie only happens because of a dum childish temper tantrum... during a forest fire. Inside the forest. Which... well okay. The movie feels like it's been artificially stretched to reach the length it has. It could have ended at several points throughout. The worst part though, is that you're supposed to feel for the maincast, stand behind them and understand them and feel sympathy for them. Sorry the only one we were able to sympathise with was Santiago, the guy the movie wants one to see as the sorta antagonist for most of the movie. For us the maincast was more of an antagonist as they became more and more unlikable as the movie progressed and they continued to make Santiago suffer because of nothing. He was basically the only one likeable in the whole movie and the only reason we watched to the end. We really hoped hed get a happy end See more Read all reviews
