Everything seemed rushed and half as*ed, nothing was explained and left me with so many questions. I've tried to search Google for an answer and no one else seems to understand it either. The idea of the rift and the world inside it/what it looks like is interesting and could be a real cool plot. **spoiler** But what's going on with the mirror images underwater? Where do the people go? Are they just floating in water for the rest of eternity? What are the light orbs? What happened to Cassandra? How'd she get back? Why is she always so mad? Is inside the rift just fog, water, and stomping sounds? Are there actually ghost? Paranormal creature? How is Jennifer there when she went missing near Japan? But there is no other ghosts floating around? Why are the coins magnetic? I have so many more questions! 🤣 Wth is going on in this movie! See more 04/05/2021 The movie started out with an intriguing premise and a cast of somewhat likeable characters but slowly devolved into a confusing aftermath. The story did not try to explaining the plot, leaving the viewer to question what the heck they were watching in the first place. The story of Celeste ship would have made a good horror film but the execution was not there. See more 10/26/2020 Loved the eerie world created by Shana Betz especially a film set at sea. The acting was solid. Emily Swallows is definitely a leading lady and Richard Roundtree subtle performance is fun to watch.
