Poised with sharklike self-assurance, Marla Grayson (Academy Award nominee Rosamund Pike) is a professional, court-appointed guardian for dozens of elderly wards whose assets she seizes and cunningly bilks through dubious but legal means. It's a well-oiled racket that Marla and her business-partner and lover Fran (Eiza González) use with brutal efficiency on their latest "cherry," Jennifer Peterson (two-time Academy Award winner Dianne Wiest) -- a wealthy retiree with no living heirs or family. But when their mark turns out to have an equally shady secret of her own and connections to a volatile gangster (Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage), Marla is forced to level up in a game only predators can play -- one that's neither fair, nor square.

It is refreshingly pungent, and as the engine of a crime plot with some truly outrageous twists, Pike gives an outstandingly nasty performance worthy of major attention.

What a waste of time and patience to get to the end of something that promises but does not deliver. I do not understand what the lesson is or the message here. Useless nonsense. If you VALUE your time, avoid it at all costs!

was a major disappointment. The acting, especially by the lead characters, felt forced and unconvincing, making it hard to connect with any of the characters. Furthermore, the ending was deeply unsatisfying, leaving too many plot points unresolved. Overall, the film felt tonally disjointed, and the inclusion of a romantic subplot didn’t add depth; it just felt out of place.

Terrible movie 2 women trying to represent what "women" can do for society? By ripping off our seniors? Does that represent women? Is that what women do? Just exploit seniors for money terrible film. Glad she got shot at the end.

Piece of shit movie not satisfying in the least somehow a random person takes over the Russian mob because they definitely wouldn’t have killed her girlfriend all in all terrible writing should’ve ended in thirty minutes power fantasy driven in the worst way

mira siendo sincero estuvo muy buena la idea de que en algun momento hasta el sistema puede fallar pero el final para mi es una basura solo no veo una explicacion logica de que ella sola sea capas de electrocutar a los guardias y secuestrarlo es como ya muy forzado la ide de que el villano gana como que ya empeso a aburrir al punto que ubiera preferido la muerte de ella antes de ese final sacado de la basura
