Amid a compellingly ambitious concept – and timely discomfort, it’s become derivative by grounding “2001: A Space Odyssey” into a spectacular sci-fi disaster with palpable emotional weight, and considerate precision, in a satisfying balance that most would forgo in favor of visually enhancing the thrills. Despite the movie's somewhat outlandish scientific premise, this movie was still amazing. The visuals were stunning, the story was compelling, and it was really fun to watch. I definitely recommend it for sci-fi fans!

If Armageddon and The Core are a slap in the face of logic, this Chinese production also has a little heart. The idea of taking planet Earth to another solar system via thrusters looks ridiculous, especially with an inconsistent plot. A Sunday movie in the use-it-and-throw-it-away category.
