See more Clampotaku 12/24/2022 A humorous buddy-cop film that unfortunately doesn't really ever go anywhere substantial. I wasn't expecting high art here, but the "plot" as it was, never felt like it had a driving force. The antagonist was weak and severely underwritten and the second half of the movie felt extremely formulaic. It is a shame too because Eddie Murphy and De Niro worked fairly well together, all things considered and there were plenty of funny moments throughout.
