The result is a show relatable and compelling for people who aren't comic book fans -- real drama, unfolding over eight episodes of high-quality television. Go to Full Review

The world of “Lanterns” prefers to be bracingly honest about our false assumptions about heroism and whether the people we deem to be noble really are... That is what makes a Lantern a hero, and this adaptation one of the best of its kind in a long time. Go to Full Review

Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre go way beyond the call of comic-book duty to bring humanity to the usual alien mashup. Much appreciated. Go to Full Review

Full of origin stories, whodunit mysteries & a great introduction to this area of the DC universe, Lanterns is one of the best live-action superhero TV series I've ever seen. Plus, Chandler & Pierre are top-tier casting. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

From the moment it starts to the moment it ends, Lanterns is driven by character and story. The spectacle is part of its DNA, but at its core, it’s about Hal Jordan, John Stewart, and their relationship. Go to Full Review

Robin J @RMJ70 14 hrs ago I don’t get the hate. The story was very entertaining, the acting incredible and the characters were true to the spirit of the comics. This was the first time in a long while that I made a point to watch the show each week right when the episodes premiered. See more Eric A @kracket1 16 hrs ago Does it have to be so boring? See more Aldo M @aldo005 17 hrs ago Production was really good and the genre style is one of my favorites but I can't go past the fact that both characters, Hal and John were ruined and don't reflect their comic personalities. I'm tired of seeing superheroes turned into villains in movies and shows, not saying superheroes should be perfect, but this fad has gone too far. See more Jaydeep D @RT42213600 18 hrs ago It’s worth a watch. I have never seen or read any Green Latern stuff. The show felt grounded. The actors justified the roles. The ending felt a bit unresolved. See more Angel V @RT83906474 18 hrs ago Absolutely loved Lanterns! The twists kept us guessing, and I really enjoyed the grounded detective-style approach to the story. Kyle Chandler does an amazing job as Hal Jordan, and Aaron Pierre is just as great as John Stewart. We were glued to our TV the entire time! If DC keeps putting out shows like this, they’re definitely heading in the right direction. Can’t wait to see what’s next! See more Lanterns S @Lanternssucks 19 hrs ago A wannabe show of something else the comic never tried to be at all, Spitting in the face of fans this was meant for. See more Read all reviews
