Eighteen-year-old Matthew Kidman (Emile Hirsch) is a straight-arrow overachiever who has never really lived life... until he falls for his new neighbor, the beautiful and seemingly innocent Danielle (Elisha Cuthbert). When Matthew discovers this perfect girl next door is a one-time porn star, his sheltered existence begins to spin out of control. Ultimately, Danielle helps Matthew emerge from his shell and discover that sometimes you have to risk everything for the person you love.

Stalling about an hour in, the movie tries to squeeze way too much juice out of a single premise, ending up at least 20 minutes too long, ploddingly predictable, devoid of any humour and with countless serious lapses in logic and taste.

The writing team of "National Lampoon's Van Wilder" crafted it as a satire about conflicting levels of sexual experience among teens, but fail to connect the significance of erotic pleasure to the emotional demands of budding adults.

Waste of time. Nothing interesting in the plot, and its the wrong treatment for this topic. Is porn treated as casual-neutral, or a negative aspective of society? You can't have it both ways. That porn is okay but she needs help escaping from a form of sex trafficking and the parents are cool with his relationship with her, as though it was nothing, just doesn't work. Is it sex trafficking or is it a comedy? Comes across as neither and in the end has no meaningful outcome. Not funny or entertaining either. If its a teen sex comedy, I'd prefer my teen not to watch it, even though they are 18 and 19.

This movie separates boys from men. The first contact of a boy with a really wonderful women. Elisha Cuthbert is literally amazing in her act and the movie drives very very well between comedy, drama, action and romance. A must see movie.

The writers simply didn't know where they wanted to go with this film. The premise is very interesting, the film is fun to watch, it would be better if the confusion of ideas among the writers wasn't so obvious, the film changes direction all the time.

I like it wery much. I like how its filmd and how, like 90% of the movie has a point like only 10% wher just random jokes. Not 10 more like 5. So i do recomend for people who like these kimds of moveis
