In the age of heroes, a mighty warrior named Beowulf (Ray Winstone) arrives at the court of King Hrothgar (Anthony Hopkins) and offers to rid the kingdom of a vicious demon called Grendel. He successfully slays the beast but thus incurs the wrath of Grendel's mother (Angelina Jolie), a creature as vicious and vengeful as she is seductive.

Expectedly, there are large-scale, edge-of-the seat clashes and some classic savage scenes. There are other interesting touches and some quirky emotions. It's a philosophical play on what it means to be a warrior.

Com certeza você deveria assistir! É bem escrito, o protagonista não é abordado com aquele clichê de herói, há um lado filosófico; sombrio, a sua principal luta é contra si, há violênca, sangue, romance e boas lições, para uma animação fantasiosa, aborda as pessoas de uma forma extremamente real. Se é o que você procura, não vai te decepcionar.

HOW THE HELL IS THIS PG-13?!?!?!?! THIS WAS SO GORY AND DARK!!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT FAMILY-FRIENDLY!!!!! If you like gore kind of like how there is a lot in Game of Thrones, then you'll probably enjoy it but this was NOT for me. This thing should have been R-rated. My only favorite parts were the sexy bits and the epic end credit song by Idina Menzel.

Beowulf (2007) has graphics that look like real people acting, I thought it was a normal movie not an animation. The story tries to draw your attention so that you can discover the mysteries that are there, but unfortunately it doesn't work.
