Annie (Kristen Wiig) is a single woman whose own life is a mess, but when she learns that her lifelong best friend, Lillian (Maya Rudolph), is engaged, she has no choice but to serve as the maid of honor. Though lovelorn and almost penniless, Annie, nevertheless, winds her way through the strange and expensive rituals associated with her job as the bride's go-to gal. Determined to make things perfect, she gamely leads Lillian and the other bridesmaids down the wild road to the wedding.

Sure, it neatly avoids a lot of the fluff found in many chick flicks and replaces it with crass shenanigans, but it adds touching moments when they're needed most, providing for a smart, less clichéd comedy.

Every lady who has ever been a bride, a bridesmaid, or a maid of honor should see this. You will either laugh at the moments that remind of your own wedding party or laugh thankfully that none of these characters were anyone of you or someone else.

The movie doesn’t treat its female characters as exceptions to the absurd comedic rule that women aren’t funny, but for moviegoers devoted to that archaic idea, it will certainly prove them wrong.

Bridesmaids is and will always be one of the best comedies ever made, I absolutely love this movie. Kristen Wigg and the rest of the cast are so great that every character is so funny, especially Mellisa McCarthy character she was so funny on this film and every time she was on screen she took over with her dumb pick-up lines. Every time I see this movie, there is never a time that this movie won't have me laughing. That Bathroom scene on where they are doing the fitting dresses has to be one of the funniest scenes ever to be put on screen, I love that scene a lot. The movie is just well made, and all the cast has great chemistry during the entire movie. So, the comedy and the great pick-up lines that the movie deliver and just making me laugh all the way until the end, Bridesmaids is one of my favorite comedies of all time. I give " Bridesmaids" an A.

Jenny McCarthy sabotage the movie ! The over the top over acting was miserable to watch ! There were some scene that were somewhat entertaining ! At best this movie was gross and confusing ! I thought the cop scenes and Wilson Philip’s saved the movie ! I like the target woman and Jenny in later movies ! A lot of snl energy wasted!

Great movie! The audience (and myself) laughed out loud several times! This is not just a movie for ladies, because the humor is understood and appreciated by both sexes. Kristen Wiig is fantastic in this movie. Definitely watch it!
