While director Bill nails the sheer spectacle of squads of SPADs dovetailing in flames into the wide blue yonder, the earthbound action (much as it was in another sputtering epic, Michael Bay's Pearl Harbor) is strictly laissez-faire.

Each air battle has been scripted as a set piece that not only shows off the capabilities of the pilots and their machines, but also advances the plot. Bring your Dramamine!

I know it’s a true story, but it’s sad that Cassidy died in sacrifice and that Rawlings couldn’t find the woman. Great story and great job in production. Also sad the bigger, chubbier guy was killed as well.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

I thought it was a pretty entertaining film that was kind of long. Yeah those old planes could never fly like that but it was still worth the watch.

Pretty good. Planes are awesome and the dogfights are nice to watch. Definitely a family movie. The historical accuracy of the weapons and planes is nice. Dialogue can be a bit clunky, but frankly, that's okay.

While seeing planes go to war for the first time was cool, I had a difficult time buying the romance and it was hard to become attached to any of the characters.
