Years after Tommy Jarvis (John Shepherd) murdered hockey-masked serial killer Jason Voorhees, he resides in a mental hospital and struggles with the trauma of the experience. When Tommy moves to an isolated halfway house, he has nightmares about Jason's return, and soon one of the patients (Dominick Brascia) is killed. As the body count grows, Tommy begins to question his sanity and wonder if Jason has risen from the dead. But, to determine the killer's identity, Tommy will need to survive.

A traumatized, older Tommy Jarvis is sent to a secluded mental health facility. When a brutal series of axe murders begins mimicking Jason's old patterns, Tommy faces his demons. The twist reveals that the real killer isn't Jason, but rather Roy Burns a local paramedic seeking revenge for his son's murder. Clear upgrades in acting quality, a vastly improved script, and significantly better overall production values. The ending leaves an eerie cliffhanger regarding Tommy's mental stability. The supporting cast is packed with deeply weird, annoying characters, including a highly frustrating younger kid. The copycat killer twist takes away from the true supernatural presence of the franchise.

Especially The Guy On The Bike Who Won't Stop Screaming. 😂 As A Girl In The Film Said Right Before Flashing Herself.... "It's Showtime!" Synopsis
