Nearly two decades after being committed to a mental institution for killing his stepfather and older sister, Michael Myers breaks out, intent on returning to the town of Haddonfield, Ill. Stupid remake. The first hour is good explaining Meyers as a child. The rest is dumb. Dr Loomis actor was terrible.

I really enjoyed this film. Could it have been better? Yes, but it was fun watch! I thought Rob Zombie had a great vision for the story. I like how the film focuses more on a younger Michael Myers.

I think the childhood backstory is good for like 10 minutes then the rest of it is repetitive but I love the remake of the original and very brutal.

OK, it's not a masterpiece but, neither is Casablanca. Loved the way Rob made the story more ours (i don't know if it makes sense). Ok, showing us his past is ok with me but i know not for everybody. I'm a big John Carpenter's fan, got all the movies but...still love this one!!
