Foxx portrays Michael Dawson, a successful Chicago businessman whose life falls apart while he's driving to the Grand Canyon with his gorgeous fiancé, Rae. When Rae discovers that he has used their savings to buy the car, she cuts off the engagement and leaves him behind. Intent on driving back to Chicago to win Rae back, Michael instead finds himself stuck in a hillbilly town.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

Wow. It was stupid, which is forgivable. But it is also amazingly unfunny, which is not. I made it about 2/3 through before giving up. SOOO many stupid characters who make unbelievably dumb decisions. This movie thinks humor comes from hicks not wearing pants. Hint: no, it doesn't.

I'm really surprised at the low Rotten rating. I thought it was funny but it has an offbeat sort of timing that not everyone appreciates. It clicked with me.

Synopsis
