Robert P @Superbad Oct 6, 2026 In Bruges is a 4.5 star Movie! See more Huntin P @PaxVobiscum80 Sep 24, 2026 The best thing about In Bruges is, well, Bruges. The set-up makes no sense and the finale is way OTT, but the middle bit is mostly terrific. Gleason and Farrell are cool as two Irish gangsters on an impromptu holiday in, um, what's that place again...Bruges. Ken loves it, Ray hates it. There's a lot of gleefully un-PC comment, which makes In Bruges something of a tonic in the walking-on-eggshells 21st century. All the same, the story makes no sense and the gangsters' lopsided morality is more irksome than comedic. In fact youtuber Popcorn In Bed spotted a major plot flaw: why doesn't Ken simply lie to Harry when he calls him, and tell him the job is done? Would have made more sense, but then again, these guys aren't exactly quick-witted, are they? Credit to Ralph Fiennes (Harry) for keeping his estuary voice going for 99% of his screentime. If you can't get to visit the real Bruges, definitely rent this one. See more Dennis K @dragonintherain Aug 21, 2026 A disturbing, absolutely fantastic film. I watched the "extras" it would have been way darker if they included some of them but, they really explain some of the motivations of the characters. What a city! See more Meri S @mschroeder Jul 23, 2026 I’m confused by the high ratings. It’s an ok movie, but kind of weird. My husband said it’s the worst movie he has watched in a long time. See more Matt J @RT95392035 Jul 20, 2026 Good movie, not great. There are some areas, where it really drags on. The funny parts though, are really funny so it balances out. Predictable ending. See more Saba E @sabaem Jul 2, 2026 In Bruges is one of those rare films that gets better every time I watch it. It somehow balances dark comedy, crime, and genuine emotion without ever feeling forced. The dog scene is still one of my favorite moments in any movie. It’s hilarious, completely unexpected, and perfectly captures the film’s absurd sense of humor. One minute you’re laughing, and the next you’re reminded how quickly things can go wrong.
