Cork B @RT87142816 2h My bar is SOOO low these days... look, this thing sprays estrogen all over the walls. Not everyone is gonna like that, but it is solidly effective at its fish out of water premise - woman in a man's world whatever. Had this movie been made today, it would have been insufferable, but Witherspoon's lines and acting make her a complex ball of pathos, pluckiness and even some vulnerability. It isn't high art, but it is crafted for its audience, and has some funny and rousing moments. The law stuff was sketchy at best, and her graduation speech was awful, but that really isn't the point of the movie. See more Sameer S @Ss492 3d Yikes.
