This film succeeds because of Qualley’s mercurial and tone-rich performance, the gorgeous cinematography from Todd Banhazl and a nuanced protagonist confronting both exterior and interior hardships. Go to Full Review

Manipulation is a given in this brand of weepie, as essential to the formula as martyrdom. If love means never having to say you’re sorry, I won’t apologize for blubbering through this movie. Go to Full Review

The heart of its story is anchored less in the rhythms of a romantic comedy or even a romantic drama than in the belief that the day-to-day realities of being a person are worthy of being immortalized. Go to Full Review

Margaret Qualley’s performance is shaped by a wringer of hopeful happiness, stubborn mistakes, worrisome terror, and fragile remorse. Go to Full Review

While well-acted and beautifully photographed, "Love of Your Life" is a somewhat morose and melancholy four-hanky weeper. Go to Full Review

Mirza M @mirzabaig890 55 min ago 'Love of Your Life' is a beautiful but underwhelming conventional romance that never quite reaches its emotional potential. See more Doug D @dougybone223 1 hr ago Margaret Qualley and Aaron Pierre deliver standout performances in Love of Your Life. Their chemistry feels natural and lived-in, carrying the film’s quieter emotional beats with real precision and warmth. Qualley brings layered restraint to Maya, while Pierre matches her with understated presence and quiet strength.Seeing an interracial pairing treated as simply human rather than a statement adds a welcome, unforced authenticity. More films that let connections like this breathe on their own terms would be a good thing. See more Josh P @RT56558431 5 hrs ago Its supposedly a love story about a woman who met and lost the love of her life and couldn’t get over it but honestly its just an awful film. Her husband dies and he meant so much to her that she ghosted his mom and family and travelled and slept around with a bunch of guys because she just loved her dead husband so freaking much right!?? Who is this movie even for? Honestly? If you lose the love of your life, your soulmate, your one and only. Why in the hell would you be compelled to act like that. All around dumb movie with some good cinematography. 0.5/5 See more COS M @CosMovies 7 hrs ago A Beautiful Cinematic Gem. An Absolute Masterpiece. Love of Your Life is an extraordinary, deeply moving film about love, devastating loss, grief, guilt, healing, and rediscovering yourself when your entire world collapses. Director Rachel Morrison delivers a beautifully layered, emotionally intelligent story. The breathtaking cinematography, intimate cultural settings, evocative soundtrack, and authentic performances create an immersive cinematic experience. Margaret Qualley is absolutely mesmerizing. Her vulnerability, emotional depth, and extraordinary screen presence are captivating. Aaron Pierre is wonderful, bringing warmth and humanity, while Catherine Keener makes every moment count. What makes this film exceptional is the authenticity of its emotional journey. The characters are beautifully developed, the psychological complexities feel real, and the eventual healing is profoundly rewarding. A film that stays with you long after the credits roll. An absolute masterpiece. See more Cam T @RT25938695 9 hrs ago I thought this was going to be a cheesy love movie but it wasn't that , it deals with real life of people after trail error and lose. I feel I could connect to Qualleys role as to what happens to many of us after a tragic loss where we just want to run away. Didnt feel cheesy or unrealistic for one secound.Acting by all actors was amazing. See more Christina M @cmon704 11 hrs ago Romance movie?!! Why in the world would anyone want to relive Covid! This movie was so depressing. I didn’t care for one single character, they were all poorly developed. And Mya was the worst! She supposedly loved this guy? She literally had NOTHING to say to his poor mother after her abhorrent behavior. I could barely finish it, it was so bad. See more Read all reviews
