An earnest effort that nonetheless relies too heavily on gimmicks. Go to Full Review

The attempts at authentic stoner dialogue soon become tedious, with too little plot or character development grounding the inanity. Go to Full Review

Slender from a narrative standpoint, Mid90s largely succeeds thanks to the authentic characters -- and even more authentic dialogue -- offered by Hill. Go to Full Review

In his directorial debut Jonah Hill proves that he understands how adolescence is not just a phase of life, but rather an attitude that carries as a souvenir several scars and several blows that mark us for the rest of our lives. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Mid90s struggles with an identity, but manages to be entertaining and exotic. The cloud of memories remind all of us of our youth and the life-or-death struggles we went through in order to be the adult at the end of that journey. Go to Full Review

armi T @RT03170796 1d I haven’t seen a coming of age movie in a looooong time. I didn’t know about this one. This is 9 years after it was released and I think they did an excellent job with capturing the time. I loved seeing the younger brother Stevie go through his emotions and reasoning. I also loved the end because it portrays strong social values that reminds of what the 90s were without phones. Even while relying on some cliches See more din D @L1J2K3 Feb 21 Nostalgic, sad, and all too real the story of "Sunburn" as he travels the world of growing up and relationship pushes this movie into my top 10 of all time. It's honestly an emotional flood and shows that Jonah Hill in my opinion has a spark not in just acting. See more munci33__ T @debil__ Feb 7 All i gotta say is watch this when you have the time. The only downsides I could think of when it comes to this movie is that 1, it isn’t longer, and 2, it spawned a whole new generation of 14-16 year old posers on skateboards. Watch it. Now. Would definitely recommend, watched it multiple times. See more Read all reviews
