Ryan T @RyRy28 Aug 23, 2026 one of the best movies of all time See more Declan D @filmbuffkid Aug 6, 2026 “Mulan” is the prime example of how you can make a Asian pacific-inspired story. This film is near perfect, the animation, the cinematography, the voice acting, The song “Make a man out of you” is a masterpiece, and has been on repeat for a couple days. I love the idea of how you can do anything even if you are not a man and that is a very powerful lesson that people can learn from. And the battle sequences are just breathtaking. And when it has very dark moments, that is the best parts that Disney has made in years. And I miss when kids movies actually had serious moments and now in the modern day, we don’t get films like that anymore because studios are too scared of taking risks, and that is the reason why Disney doesn’t hit me as well as it did watching these films in the 2010’s. And this film respects the culture this movie is inspired by, and it’s not messing it up like other Disney products *Cough* Raya *Cough* overall, it’s a phenomenal film that takes risks and succeeds 9.4/10 See more Pedro A @PedroAlao Jul 23, 2026 It is very funny, filled with adventure and a good central theme, all enhanced by remarkable animation. I just wish it had dwelt a little deeper into Mulan's personal struggle in the final stretch of the movie. See more MC R @RT91491190 Jul 14, 2026 I though let's rewatch the original Mulan movie. Around the pandemic when the Live action version came out I watched it, but never took a chance to rewatch the original animation. To be honest I don't remember anything from both versions. But I loved to rewatch this one now! It's a great animation movie! Funny Ming-Na Wen as Mulan was great, she's a bad ass actress. I know her especially from Agents of Shield! I though always that she was great in the show! So I was excited when she entered also the Star Wars world! Wen brought Mulan home, she really did a great job. I always loved Eddy Murphy as Mushu. How cool that Pat Morita is also in the movie. I've have to say I love the grandmother. So funny Mulan is a great movie and I love that I decided to rewatch this today! See more Bret M @BretM-3 Jul 13, 2026 Y’know what, I liked this movie a lot more than I remembered. It has really good, classic 90s Disney animation that, really reminds you why you miss 2D Animated movies. I also think that Mulan and Mushu are just fun protagonists that make the movie all the more enjoyable. But what I really didn’t remember about this movie but was pleasantly surprised by was the music! This movie’s got some really catchy musical numbers, and a pretty good score too! So yeah, this movie was definitely better than I remembered! See more Read all reviews
