Critics Consensus

Filmed in shrouded secrecy but illuminating in its overview of how policy can calculate the worth of a human life, Naza is a disquieting interrogation of what constitutes acceptable civilian casualties.

The result is specific disquiet at what is currently happening in that region, but the film, coproduced by The Guardian, also triggers more general horror at how, in the contemporary world, it is too easy to slaughter from a dispassionate distance. Go to Full Review

NAZA succeeds as great journalism and great cinema alike. I won't soon forget the tone and framing of this film, as an ethnic cleansing and the spycraft that enables it is recounted with eerie stillness. Go to Full Review

Elizabeth S 14 hrs ago Very powerful. The editing was masterful. See more David R 15 hrs ago Disturbing but important. See more Tarja 17 hrs ago If you still have doubts that Israel's goal is to eradicate Palestine and the Palestinians, this documentary will make you think. The witness accounts are stunning in their detail, unanimity and affirmation that much of what we've seen and heard in the mainstream media is filtered or omitted altogether. To the powerful backdrop of living people moving in their apartments, the soldiers account for the process that goes into bombing Palestinians in their own homes. NAZA is simply collateral damage. If you only see one movie this year, let this be the one! See more Jay 1 day ago It is highly recommended. Go and watch the documentary. It is informative and devastating.
