Thrill-seeking criminals perform a series of daredevil stunts to steal money and gems, only to give it away to the poor and less fortunate. Training for a job with the FBI, young recruit Johnny Utah suspects that only extreme athletes could pull off these heists. Utilizing his own special skills, Utah infiltrates the gang of thieves after befriending their charismatic leader, Bodhi. As Johnny experiences the rush of their lifestyle, his superiors fear that his loyalties are being tested.

I went into the 2015 remake of *Point Break* hoping for a fresh take on a cult classic, but what I got instead was a hollow, overproduced mess. The original had charisma, tension, and memorable characters. This version strips all of that away and replaces it with lifeless performances and extreme sports sequences that feel more like a highlight reel than an actual story. The characters are especially disappointing—there’s no chemistry, no depth, and no reason to care about anyone on screen. Johnny Utah feels bland, and Bodhi lacks the presence and philosophy that made him compelling in the original. The dialogue is forgettable, and the plot is barely held together by a series of increasingly ridiculous stunts. Visually, it’s polished, but that’s about the only positive. Style completely outweighs substance here. Overall, it’s a pointless remake that fails to justify its existence. 1/10.

The motivation of the bad guys in the movie made little to no sense and the movie as a whole basically made no sense . There were some really cool action scenes but it was let down by bad plot , bad acting and awful script

I would give it zero stars if possible. What were they thinking? Watch the original, it's still a great film in 2025. Don't f*ck with the classics if you're going to make garbage like this.
