Good is a stretch. "Scary Movie" is as lazy, dumb and offensive as the others. But Hall and Faris as the dotty mothers of the next generation of victims are hilarious, romping about like their Brenda and Cindy have been knocked on the head too often

Even at a tiny fraction of their laugh power, it’s good to have the Wayans bros back spoofing horror movies, but would it be asking too much if the hit-and-mostly-miss jokes could maybe nudge an inch beyond the obvious?

Their retake on it all remains sketchy at best, but the ever-grand Hall brings heft, Marlan's "Shorty" still generates laughs, and just looking at Dave Sheridan, as the goofy sheriff, should make anyone smile.

Edgy and crass is the primary point, as if trying to offend or push the boundaries of good taste is prioritized over actually being funny. However, too many of the attempted zingers are stale or labored, resembling outtakes from 20 years ago.

I think this movie was trash. I think it was garbage. I can’t believe we spent our money to watch it. They should’ve been a Netflix special so I could’ve clicked off of it and watch something different 0 out of 10. Enough with the sequels already.

Didn't particularly care for the K-pop Demon Hunter scene. The ending just felt like let's try this, Let's try that,let's try something else. It felt unplanned and unscripted. Maybe it's time to retire the franchise if we're out of content.
