Matthew S @NotMatthew 2d This movie is great because it's a story of how, when you use Microsoft Windows, everything is great, you have a wife and a family, and no one is sad. Then, when you transition to Mac, your wife dies, your daughter lies to you, and then gets abducted. That's what happens, that's real life. But I was finally at least able to figure out MOST, if not all of the details. I would have preferred, and would have enjoyed more, the format most filmmakers have used for decades now. There may be a reason why most filmmakers use the format they do. So, at least I know that I don't want to watch another movie made strictly from the computer user's point of view. Not only did it present an eerie and captivating mystery, but the use of news alerts and social media interfaces to weave together a constantly changing story was absolutely masterful. This movie is an absolute masterpiece! I definitely recommend it for mystery, crime, and drama fans! Suspense, thriller, mystery, making you think the whole damn time from start to finish. It keeps you locked in every second, no wasted scenes, no filler, no nonsense. Every click, every message, every screen matters. You’re not just watching the movie, you’re IN it trying to solve it piece by piece like a real investigation unfolding in real time. Ok ok I get it, it’s not some huge old-school theatrical blockbuster with massive action scenes, but for what it is, it hits PERFECT. The way it builds tension through phones, computers, webcams, and online life is genius. It turns everyday tech into pure suspense. It shouldn’t work this well… but it does. If you like thrillers that actually make your brain work, keep you guessing nonstop, and pull you deeper as it goes, WATCH THIS MOVIE. Don’t overthink it—just hit play and enjoy the ride. 10/10.
