Kristoffer Borgli's film is both hilarious and deeply disturbing, holding a mirror up to our attention-seeking social media society. It's fitting and consistent that there's no catharsis where Signe recognizes her mistakes and we feel sorry for her. I don't know how Kristine Kujath Thorp managed to connect with this character, but I'm glad she did. "Syk Pike" was 90 minutes that kept me glued to the screen, laughing, amazed, and incredulous.

Thee best take on ego/narcissistic behavior and at times hilariously hard to watch while at the same time you can’t not give it the attention it craves! My favorite film of the year! You absolutely MUST watch !

I was a bit confused about certain aspects of it. And some scenes were a bit unnecessary such as the sex scene after Kristine's character come home from the hospital after taking a forgin drug that ruins her face among other things. It was one of the weirdest movies I've ever seen. Kind of enjoyable though. I think 3.5 stars is fair.
