Barlow and Kane Senes, the film’s co-writers and co-directors, slip easily between satiric humour and gory ramifications. They get the genre’s conventions, but with Dee’s committed performance leading the way, they refuse to simply accept them.

This film wants to be a funny satire on the dark side of influencer culture, but it ends up boring. At every stage, it felt predictable. I found myself hoping it would end quickly. I enjoyed the ending of the film, but it wasn't worth the boring journey to get there.

Really well done. But the overall messaging was a bit yuck. Essentially " be nice to the weird kid or they'll shoot up the school" type vibe. Also we were right to be mean because look how crazy she is

Just finished washing this one. 'Sissy' Brief synopsis; High school best friends Cecilia and Emma run into each other after a decade, and Emma invites Cecilia to her hen's weekend away. Stuck in a remote cabin with her high school bully, Cecilia quickly develops a taste for revenge. Australian cinema and film has come a long way. Went into this one blind. No idea what to expect. It was great. Excellent acting and cinematography. Quality attempt to bring thee new generation on board with Social media relevance ect. Some high quality gore effects. Some practical and some cgi. Really engaging plot that keeps you interested until thee end. Vaughn Roxx gives this 4 Stars ☆☆☆☆ Enjoy 🤙😎

A atriz principal tem carisma, consegue manter as nuances, já o restante é basicamente personagens descartáveis. O roteiro tem até umas idéias bacanas bem como o final que brinca com a realidade atual mas sinto que faltou um gás, algo que me fizesse querer rever o filme.

Really enjoyed this mixture of thriller, horror and comedy, with some truly unique and relatable points made about social media and it's part in our lives now. Exciting to see Australia making some solid films in this genre again! Very well cast and shot. Unique twists and turns in the plot kept me hooked the whole way through, with a very satisfying ending.
