See more Skyler B 01/18/2025 This is a film that stays with you.. For good or for worse. I've always been one to think true art is any form of media that makes you feel. This film truly captures what I perceive as art. I think it's one of the best movies that I've ever seen. I'd say I'm shocked to see the bad reviews, people categorizing it as "visually repulsive". But truthfully I'm not. They just don't get it, & you can't expect everyone too. That's life in a small apartment. The story is not meant to be some rosy picture. It completely captures what it's trying to be. I'm glad I found this movie @15 in the budget bin at a local video store. I think about it quite regularly. See more Trisha R 06/24/2024 I'm actually surprised that so many people have given this movie a bad review. It actually makes me question whether or not they actually watched it. The movie draws you in with it's quirkiness and quick whit, but dumps a major load on you in the end. It made me really feel like Franklin Franklin wasn't meant for our world, but for his world. My favorite gag was the running joke with Billy Crystal. 🤣 See more Vazha P 04/20/2024 The song by Per Gessle, "I Have A Party In My Head (I Hope It Never Ends)," which opens and ends the movie, triggered a random memory from my happy childhood with as much meaning as the movie itself.
