The ship appears to fire on a Klingon vessel, and Gorkon is killed in the subsequent confusion. Critics Consensus

The Undiscovered Country is a strong cinematic send-off for the original Star Trek crew, featuring some remarkable visuals and an intriguing, character-driven mystery plot.

Meyer keeps his camera hopping and the production has a dark, atmospheric sheen that persistently suggest mystery and danger. Not the best of the series, but a suitable farewell.

There are weaknesses here--especially when the climax becomes too packed and chaotic, and the goodby over-hasty. But Meyer and Flynn get a fullness back into the characters.

Ironically, audiences likely be calling for more. With the new movie, subtitled "The Undiscovered Country," Kirk, Spock, and Co. are back in fine form... Star Trek VI has the aura of new beginnings.

This is perhaps the most enjoyable and certainly the most literate of the movie episodes. With allusions to Shakespearean drama and sharp parallels to the brave new world we live in, the film is often as funny and clever as it is engaging.

As with Khan this is directed by the same person. Unlike opera we are treated to a murder mystery and it’s great

An exciting, moving conclusion to a chapter. Ahead of the handover, the story centres on uncovering a traitor seeking to sabotage an armistice. The story is crafted in such a way that it doesn’t feel like a long TV episode. Fans of the series will be more than satisfied

Perfect ending for the original cast of the crew. Christopher Plummer was elite in this.

A nice way to end this specific franchise. Had it all and really felt like a longer episode with all the usual whodunnit. Enjoyable.

**Nota: 6/10** 🎬
