A superb soundtrack, great performances and just a hint of controversy, this is Almodóvar on top form. Go to Full Review J. R. Jones Chicago Reader Jan 11, 2008
Almodovar uses the characters' unlikely predicaments to show how we define ourselves by narration, but his story is so overdetermined that ultimately the two men seem as constrained as their brain-dead sweethearts. Go to Full Review David Ansen Newsweek Nov 1, 2007
It's Almodovar's most mature and mysterious movie. Go to Full Review Wesley Lovell Cinema Sight Dec 4, 2022

Almodovar’s simple script reveals itself in complex ways, asking the audience to empathize with his characters in situations that seem unusual, but feel all too human. Go to Full Review Jane Freebury The Canberra Times (Australia) Aug 18, 2022

Leaburn O @RT35452347 Aug 4, 2025 Saw this a few years back and found it loooing. Didn’t resonate with me. Watched on DVD. See more JP T @RT98803922 Jan 8, 2025 “Talk to Her” is one of Almodóvar’s most remarkable works. It compels you to reflect on your own moral views. The film is stunningly crafted, with each scene artistically framed to evoke a sense of traditional painting. The music, including the score and the songs, is exceptional, with Caetano Veloso’s performance being a standout. The plot is not only engaging and intricate but also enlightening in unexpected ways. It’s truly a must-see. Don’t miss this cinematic gem! See more Alexsander F @Aelxs Dec 18, 2024 Surpreendente e cheio de suspense! See more Alex M @Montini Jul 5, 2024 One of the best movies I've ever seen. It's unfortunate that Almadovar no longer creates such compelling films. See more Kyle M @RT77296778 Oct 12, 2023 During the first viewing, it dozes apathetically until the prompt gets truly realized and grasped as a social statement treading delicately on certain themes that convincingly deserves a second viewing with the newfound mindset. Appreciation has already been set over how it was remarkably well-made buoyed by fine performances albeit convoluting characterized connections blurred. (B) See more Read all reviews
