Impeccably scripted, beautifully directed, and filled with fine performances, The Social Network is a riveting, ambitious example of modern filmmaking at its finest.

In its cold, almost forensic way, this is as tense and exciting as it is absorbing. It's a miracle, really.

Fincher does, at least, make decent entertainment out of such inherently unprepossessing subjects as computer use and legal hearings.

One of the dullest movies I've ever sat through. I get that creating a website, even one that became as revolutionary as Facebook, isn't necessarily an entertaining story, but I'd much rather be watching one that is.

Is this the best David Fincher film? I don’t know he has a lot of fantastic films so my answer could change any day.

"Perfection itself is imperfection." — Vladimir Horowitz These are words spoken before this film was released, which is why it carries so much truth, but if spoken today, they would mean nothing. This film carries a blend of intensity and conclusion that only a master could construct. A film fueled by conversation but somehow never gets boring. The contrast between beginning and end leaves the viewer with nothing but the feeling of completion, so I dare say this movie is perfection.
