It checks a ton of boxes, makes absolutely no sense at times, and has plot holes galore. At the same time, it possesses a certain B-movie energy and charm that fuels the action and keeps things entertaining, no matter how absurd it gets.

A pulpy, unrealistic thriller from longtime journeyman Renny Harlin has a propulsive plot and a reliable star in Samuel L. Jackson.

This was not among his finest efforts. The films lacked quality, and honestly, it might have been better left unmade. The entire production felt overly sentimental

Good action, for a low budget Samuel L. Jackson movie. Funny parts though out the movie. Only Samuel can say MF’er the way he does!
