What to Know

Critics Consensus

A rare film that surpasses the quality of its source novel, this Devil is a witty expose of New York's fashion scene, with Meryl Streep in top form and Anne Hathaway more than holding her own.

It's Meryl's movie, everyone says, and in a way it is. She gives a furiously funny performance as a furiously nasty bit of work... But, as I said earlier, scenes without her suffer horribly. Go to Full Review

The Devil Wears Prada takes you on a wild ride through a rarefied world, where the punchlines are still as fresh as florals, even if Miranda would snarl that they’re hardly groundbreaking for spring. Go to Full Review

Karthik Y. @madkarthi 3h It is a completely amazing film. I just can't take my eyes from Anne Hathaway in this movie. She is looking so beautiful and so young in every single frame. Her transformation and style are totally superb. And then the story itself is a best click for me. I mean it is like a very beautiful and highly engaging story. I thoroughly enjoyed this one from start to finish. Meryl Streep performance as the boss is also completely on another level. I am eagerly waiting to see the second film on 4k bluray disc. See more Carolina P @RT79845723 6h The perfect movie. All the performances are impeccable. See more Keith B. @Okbullard 16h I saw this years ago and had to watch it again. Meryl Streep was exceptional as usual but Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci were all great together as well. I really enjoyed the interactions and drama between the characters. Give it a look you'll really enjoy it. See more Andreas S @RT67134403 2d This movie had every opportunity to impress, but the storyline fell flat. Some movies don’t need a sequel, as this didn’t add anything. See more MJ K. @RT13264255 5d The perfect 2000s movie. Forever one of my favourites and biggest creative inspirations!
