The Drama is not a tidy film from any angle. Its themes are extreme and uncomfortable. Its director’s past actions are more than questionable. But if audiences are willing to keep an open mind and engage with it, it will reward on a massive scale.

It's not as strange or absurd as it could’ve been, and lands somewhere in the middle, not enough one thing or the other. Mid is an apt description for The Drama, which is neither offensive nor tremendous.

Is this a commentary on human behavior? Presumably yes, but Borgli is too caught up in the vibes of The Drama then to tell us what that commentary is.

nothing special really. kinda just repeated the shocking twist over and over again until it lost its impact. would have been better to go more in depth of the psychological process that led to the almost action. some of the jokes about it were A+ tho.

This movie was so disjointed from the very beginning. They tried so hard to help us understand the characters, but there were too many obvious points that the audience understood, but couldnt understand why the characters didnt I really hate that I didnt like it because they are too such awesome actors. And the hate was just too powerful.
