The plot is pretty standard, love loss, loss of loved ones, but the acting and directing presented a very natural non-Hollywood feel. The interaction between Bibb and Duhamel was natural and unforced. Usually these films exaggerate the love loss and pain with heightened emotion, Here because the leads are both suffering internally, instead of the typical Hollywood leap into each other's arms to alleviate the loss, here the connection is a slow, natural, well paced build. It is not your typical Hollywood romance. If you’re looking for that, this movie is not for you. I found the movie deep and moving and real. The characters were complex with problems that were difficult to resolve. However, life goes on, and the characters do as well. It did not disappoint. Well done!
