Horror fan 4 @Horrorfan4life Jul 12 Well what a way to look at relationships and throw in aliens to boot wow. I will say I like the chemistry between joey and Craig. The alien looked terrible. The last 30 minutes is the best part of the movie. The direction was solid and the performances were good. It's definitely not something I'd revisit. The film’s biggest strength is how fearlessly specific it is, leaning hard into themes of trauma, addiction, toxic relationships, and queer identity without sanding down its weirdest edges. Olivia Taylor Dudley and Jordan Gavaris bring a lot of humanity to characters who could have easily become caricatures, helping ground the film even when it veers into surreal, hentai-inspired nightmare territory.
