A finely tuned horror-comedy exercise that benefits from the chemistry of its cast and the managed-expectations feel of its storytelling.

If anything, this modest but entirely charming movie may deserve a tiny slice of immortality by showing the kind of goofy, escapist fun that can be created even in a grim time.

By nature, it's rough around the edges, but it's very well-made for what it is. Video chat fatigue may dull its impact, but rather something like this than another round of Zoom trivia.

The playful approach is enjoyable, especially as the bright young cast pokes fun at both the genre and the industry.

Untitled Horror Movie isn't a bad film. It's a simple low-budget horror-comedy that's having a good time poking fun at the genre and its young Hollywood characters.

I'm a huge lover of ghost and scary movies, and comedic horror, i.e. Tucker & Dale vs Evil, The Borrower--excellent romps. I was hopeful this might be along those lines. This was not. Save your precious minutes. I couldn't even get through it. More than half the "movie" is Zoom screens of terrible dialogue acted poorly. I kept waiting for something scary, anything. I shut it off when it was clear I was wasting my time. Wait for it to come out on video.

It wasn't interesting even as background noise.

They took an idea that should have made a decent half hour story and stretched it out with a lot of talk, talk, talk.

It doesn't provide anything revolutionary to the found footage styled horror genre, but Untitled Horror Movie implements contemporary technology to the mix far better than most and can be quite engaging when it needs to be. It's blend of satire doesn't always hit but usually has the intended effect.

Untitled Horror Movie executes its creative plot in the best way without taking itself too seriously resulting in a really entertaining horror flick.
