Despite its new thematic wrinkle, the five segments here feel familiar in ideas and unmemorable in execution. It’s a middling addition to a variably inspired anthology brand that will no doubt trundle on through more installments yet. Go to Full Review Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com Oct 7, 2024

The V/H/S series happily shows no sign of slowing down, and V/H/S/Beyond is as thrilling an entry as any that has come before it. Just don’t plan on going skydiving anytime soon after watching. Go to Full Review Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News Oct 2, 2024

“V/H/S Beyond” grossed me out, made me laugh and made me jump — and it set a high bar for ensuing entries to jump over. Go to Full Review Emily von Seele Daily Dead Sep 14, 2025

The sci-fi angle opens up a lot of different doors, while still keeping one foot firmly in the horror genre. This is a really solid entry and fans are going to be very happy with the result. Go to Full Review Samantha McLaren Horror Press Aug 1, 2025
V/H/S/Beyond is the rare exception, delivering hit after horrifying hit and proving there’s still life (and gory deaths) in this long-running franchise. Go to Full Review John Daniel Tangalin The Cinema Spot Jul 18, 2025

The collaborative direction for V/H/S/Beyond is wholly appreciative. The franchise continues experimenting with visual antagonisms brought to the screen, frequently changing the overarching meaning of the films. Go to Full Review Read all reviews

Christian R @RT90248046 5 days ago 7.5/10 A pretty good start to a new trilogy. Had some of the most fun entries in a while. See more Owen S @OwenSims Oct 8, 2026 This film is a solid entry in the series. Only issue is there are Some wierd cgi at some points. Other than that each segment is an interesting watch. I like it See more Fro T @frothizzlereviews Sep 18, 2026 My favorite film of the franchise since Part 2! A breath of fresh air after being let down by the last two flicks. I damn near loved every segment, (except the wrap around story and the finale, Stowaway) Fantastic gore, awesome practical effects when they’re used, and some creative camerawork. See more Jorge H @jorge02 Apr 25, 2026 Sincerely, I never get bored watching this films, they're really great and they fit with my favorite horror films See more Eddie T @King_Fish Dec 24, 2025 I really enjoy the VHS series, because they deliver unique takes on the found footage sub genre of horror, without conforming to the old, tired, formulaic tropes of most blockbuster horror films. They tell fun and interesting short stories with twists you don't always see coming, although some are a little ridiculous and at times, slow. That doesn't stop the franchise moving at a good pace however, and I'm always excited for what they do next. V/H/S Beyond delivered enough originality to keep me entertained for the entire 114 minutes. See more Read all reviews
