This movie is so scary, disturbing, gory, and fits the theme of Halloween greatly. If it were up to me there would be another VHS Halloween. See more Sydney C @RT70930840 May 10 Would not recommend very hard to follow along with I found the film very much all over the place one minute there’s a drink commercial And people dieing in the most obnoxious ways It felt like 3 different films all mushed into one movie See more Jorge H @jorge02 Apr 25 Disturbing and Incredible as the others See more Craig B @Hubstrutter Apr 11 I have watched these from the beginning and i've always enjoyed the outlandish ideas that tend to hilariously misuse conventions of found footage, go-pros (the cyclist stumbling onto zombies and the ensuing chaos is very memorable) and clever ways its reinvented the shaky cam footage seemingly long after it had its day. VHSHalloween was fun but it lacks a lot of these clever aspects, instead going for what amounts to haunts that don't tick the WTF meter as much as they should and yeah even Coochie Coo was not as creepy as it thought it was. Also missing is the international flavour, which tended to make some entries a whole other level of horror. I like V/H/SHalloween but not in the same way i enjoy the rest of the franchise and if you haven't seen V/H/S 1 & 2, Beyond, Viral, 94, 99 and oh yeah 85!
