I was pleasantly surprised at this film with how close to the source material it stayed true to, aside from the pace and tone. Just watched it again as an adult and I'm sad all over again that the entire series never got fully adapted. Zoey Deutch was the PERFECT Rose. This one will always hold a special place in book-to-film adaptations for me. One of the few I felt was done better than most I've seen these days. See more @RT54662279 Jun 3 虽然是今年才看到这部电影，唉真的好后悔为什么没有早点发现这么优秀的电影！！！但是我想说它真的拍的棒极了，首先是选角，电影中的每一个选角都特别贴合原著，非常符合原著形象，作为看过原著小说的读者，我想说这部电影的选角真的特别特别成功。其次是剧情，我在阅读小说的同时观看了这部电影，不难发现电影改编自小说的第一册，但是它很好的保留了原著的主要内容，让每一个人物塑造都和小说中的形象贴切，而且剧情节奏也很好，并没有背离原著。还有画面和布景，不管是内景还是外景，都能看出摄制组的用心和态度。演员的台词也写的很细腻，每一位演员的台词都能鲜明地反映出人物形象，奇幻的同时有些小幽默，节奏把控好的非常好诶。最后要感谢演员们的付出，导演编剧摄制组，整个剧组的努力，我真的想不通还原度这么高的电影为什么反响不好，可能是第一册书并不是高潮，没办法吸引观众的眼球吗？可以说我这辈子最大的遗憾就是再也看不到原班人马拍摄续集了，它完全值得拍成一系列电影，不逊于暮光之城！ See more Carli B. @carliburchett May 19 I love this movie.
